Who are We?
Your Trusted School Teacher/Owner
Hello, I'm Janet Caserta, the proud owner of Adventure Awaits Childcare. Since I was young, I've been passionate about education and childcare, and I’ve dedicated my career to providing a warm and nurturing environment for children. With over 22 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I continue to grow my skills and knowledge through ongoing education with local agencies.
Throughout my journey, I’ve worked in various childcare centers and operated my own in-home daycare, gaining valuable insights into creating the best possible experiences for children. Whether I’m teaching for a few hours or playing a more consistent role in your child's life, I always strive to provide a stable, safe, and enriching environment.
As a mother of three, my family and I love spending time together in nature, whether we’re hiking, camping, or exploring the outdoors. We’re also big fans of movies, amusement parks, and enjoying casual dinners. At Adventure Awaits Childcare, we value togetherness and make it a priority to welcome every family with open arms, ensuring that everyone feels at home.
Mission
We strive to support our local families and community by providing exceptional childcare for their little ones. Through open communication and proactive strategies, we introduce your little one to the foundational skills needed for a successful future. Our teachers utilize Learn by Play as well as Social Emotional Learning techniques in our curriculum. Our classrooms are built around small group settings to allow for critical thinking, active learning, and independent growth.
Hands-On Learning
At Adventure Awaits Childcare, we embrace a hands-on learning approach that encourages children to explore, create, and discover through active play and real-world experiences. By engaging in sensory activities, manipulatives, art, science, and dramatic play, children develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and social skills in a fun, interactive environment that supports every learning style.
We take pride in the fact that we’ve had the privilege of supporting over a hundred families in their children’s development. Our commitment to providing quality care has led many families to stay with us for an average of three years or more, with some staying from infancy until their children begin formal schooling. We’re excited to continue growing our community of families and remain dedicated to providing the best care possible.
