Who are We?
Adventure Awaits Childcare is a warm, welcoming, and family-centered early learning program in Parsippany, New Jersey, serving infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Pre-K children.
We believe the early years of childhood should be filled with curiosity, discovery, meaningful relationships, and plenty of opportunities to learn through play. Children grow best when they feel safe, cared for, encouraged, and confident enough to explore the world around them. That belief is at the heart of everything we do.
Our program uses The Creative Curriculum, a research-based approach to early childhood education that supports learning through play, hands-on exploration, purposeful activities, and meaningful interactions with teachers and peers. Rather than expecting every child to learn in the same way or at the same pace, our teachers observe each child’s interests, strengths, and developmental needs and use those observations to help guide classroom experiences.
Throughout the day, children are given opportunities to build important skills in ways that feel natural, engaging, and fun. Activities are designed to support language and communication, early literacy, cognitive development, problem-solving, fine and gross motor skills, creativity, sensory exploration, social-emotional development, independence, and kindergarten readiness. Whether children are creating art, exploring science, building with blocks, engaging in dramatic play, listening to stories, participating in music and movement, or simply learning how to share and work together, every experience can become an opportunity for growth.
As a smaller childcare center, one of the things we value most is the personal connection we are able to build with our children and families. We want every child to be known, understood, and celebrated for who they are. Our teachers take the time to learn each child’s personality, interests, routines, and individual needs while creating a classroom environment where children feel comfortable, included, and excited to come to school.
Family partnerships are just as important to us. We believe that open communication and strong relationships between families and teachers help children feel secure and supported. We want parents to feel connected to their child’s day and confident that their child is being cared for by people who truly know and value them.
Over 24 years of experience in early childhood education and over 100 families served, Adventure Awaits is proud to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn, play, make friends, build confidence, develop independence, and create happy childhood memories.

Mission
At Adventure Awaits Childcare, our MISSION is to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. We are committed to partnering with families and our community to give children a strong foundation during the most important years of their development.
Using The Creative Curriculum, our teachers create meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, hands-on activities, and positive interactions. We believe children learn best when they are actively involved in what they are doing, which is why our classrooms encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, communication, and independence.
Social-emotional development is an important part of our program. We help children learn how to express their feelings, build friendships, develop confidence, make positive choices, and understand how to interact with others in a caring and respectful way.
Our classrooms are designed to provide opportunities for both small-group and individual learning. Through sensory exploration, art, science, dramatic play, music and movement, early literacy, manipulatives, and everyday experiences, children strengthen their cognitive, language, social-emotional, and fine and gross motor skills while developing a lifelong love of learning.
We also believe that strong relationships with families are essential to a child’s success. Through open communication and ongoing partnerships with parents, we work together to understand each child’s individual needs, celebrate their accomplishments, and support their growth at their own pace.
We are proud to have supported more than 100 families throughout our years in early childhood education, with many families remaining with us for several years and some children growing with us from infancy until they are ready to begin formal schooling.
At Adventure Awaits, our goal is not simply to care for children. We want each child to feel safe enough to explore, confident enough to try, supported enough to grow, and excited to discover what each new day has to offer.

Hello, I'm Janet Caserta, the proud owner of Adventure Awaits Childcare. Since I was young, I've been passionate about education and childcare, and I’ve dedicated my career to providing a warm and nurturing environment for children. With over 24 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I continue to grow my skills and knowledge through ongoing education with local agencies.
Throughout my journey, I’ve worked in various childcare centers and operated my own in-home daycare, gaining valuable insights into creating the best possible experiences for children. Whether I’m teaching for a few hours or playing a more consistent role in your child's life, I always strive to provide a stable, safe, and enriching environment.
As a mother of three, my family and I love spending time together in nature, whether we’re hiking, camping, or exploring the outdoors. We’re also big fans of movies, amusement parks, and enjoying casual dinners. At Adventure Awaits Childcare, we value togetherness and make it a priority to welcome every family with open arms, ensuring that everyone feels at home.
